Day 19 - A picture and a letter

My friends have always meant the world to me. Some new friends were placed into my life for just a day, a week, a month. But there are those that linger, that unfold and plant seeds in my life. Sometimes people come into your life and you know
right away that they were meant to be there, to serve
some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson, or to help
you figure out who you are or who you want to become.

You never know who these people may be - a roommate, a
neighbor, a professor, a friend, a lover, or even a
complete stranger.
Today's letter is from my friend Chris. His travel stories and effortless way of documenting these incredible experiences abroad continue to inspire me daily.

The Perfect Weekend

This past weekend was one to remember forever. I spent my time with some of the closest people in my life. Friday I finished off the week with Happy Hour with friends followed by the perfect belated Birthday dinner at Plataforma with Shin.  Saturday Klod and I started early discovering a private beach, wine tasting, skydiving then a yummy lobster dinner at the Lobster Roll. Sunday Cie Cie, Carolina, Klod and I started extra early cheering on Italia in the World Cup then spontaneously buzzed Cie Cie's hair! We topped off the day by going to Spa Castle then smoked shisha at Dandana's. This weekend sets the bar for a fabulous NYC summer to come!
