Joshua McKinley.

Magic happens every time J and I whip out the camera. Whether it's with my cheapo camera phone or my proper Canon SLR, our chemistry is magnetic. Here's what happened on a whim just last night!

Joshua Mckinley Cook, Project Runway Season 9's next winner!

Courtesy of Lifetime Television

I couldn't be prouder of my dear friend Joshua. His innovative, avant guarde, deliciously wild, unique approach to fashion has inspired and awed us all. He's taken his life experiences, daily inspirations and natural instincts to create beautiful one of a kind pieces to share with the world. His motives are pure, his heart of gold and his laugh contagious.
Be sure to cheer him on and watch the premier of Project Runway tonight! Keep an eye out for photos I shot of the lovely Melody in Joshua's designs.

I learned a million and one things while working with the ridiculously talented Suzanne Sutcliffe. Her beautiful updated site features 4 weddings we shot together, check them out here!
Here's one of my favorites, if you look closely you can even see Suzanne doin her thing just to the left of the love birds!

La Gringa

I thrive on making memories. I want to remember the way the sun felt on my skin, the sounds that will continue to ring in my ears afterward. I love the immediate associations that fill my head the second one of these senses is triggered. I even cherish the feeling of sadness knowing that that exact moment may never happen again. I moved away from home eight years ago and have since strived to make a new path for myself. I live to travel. Every nickel is saved to be spent as foreign currency, and I constantly find myself in the most remarkable situations in the middle of remote places. It feels as though it’s my duty to document these spaces and share my experiences with others. By putting myself in the photograph I feel that the space becomes my own, and I then have a documented moment that I can look back on later and use to inspire my memories.
