Beauty

Beauty.
"It is not the image you would see nor the song you would hear,
But rather an image you see though you close your eyes and a song you hear though you shut your ears.
It is not the sap within the furrowed bark, nor a wing attached to a claw,
But rather a garden for ever in bloom and a flock of angels for ever in flight."
Kahlil Gibran

Love is in the air!

I learned a million and one things while working with the ridiculously talented Suzanne Sutcliffe. Her beautiful updated site features 4 weddings we shot together, check them out here!
Here's one of my favorites, if you look closely you can even see Suzanne doin her thing just to the left of the love birds!

La Gringa

I thrive on making memories. I want to remember the way the sun felt on my skin, the sounds that will continue to ring in my ears afterward. I love the immediate associations that fill my head the second one of these senses is triggered. I even cherish the feeling of sadness knowing that that exact moment may never happen again. I moved away from home eight years ago and have since strived to make a new path for myself. I live to travel. Every nickel is saved to be spent as foreign currency, and I constantly find myself in the most remarkable situations in the middle of remote places. It feels as though it’s my duty to document these spaces and share my experiences with others. By putting myself in the photograph I feel that the space becomes my own, and I then have a documented moment that I can look back on later and use to inspire my memories.
