La Gringa

I thrive on making memories. I want to remember the way the sun felt on my skin, the sounds that will continue to ring in my ears afterward. I love the immediate associations that fill my head the second one of these senses is triggered. I even cherish the feeling of sadness knowing that that exact moment may never happen again. I moved away from home eight years ago and have since strived to make a new path for myself. I live to travel. Every nickel is saved to be spent as foreign currency, and I constantly find myself in the most remarkable situations in the middle of remote places. It feels as though it’s my duty to document these spaces and share my experiences with others. By putting myself in the photograph I feel that the space becomes my own, and I then have a documented moment that I can look back on later and use to inspire my memories.

Destination Wedding, Costa Rica

My dear friends Jenny and Rich tied the knot on a beautiful beach in Costa Rica. I had the honor of photographing the special event.

Istayed in the exotic, beautiful Paradise Breezes Resort during my stay in Dominical. Dominicalito is small surf town made up of people from all over the world coming to live the pura vida, the pure life. Everyone's chill, content, satisfied with just the sound of waves crashing and cool breeze in their sunkissed hair. i felt liberated, peaceful, as I was forced to take it easy and just be, just exist.

Traveling has always been a passion of mine. I feel it's my duty to capture the magic of each place I visit so that I can show others I've left behind just how beautiful the world is. They may never get to see these places with their own eyes so....see them with mine.
